OKAY. So this ones loaded, the art itself is based on the album art, and Digital Silence is a general WC song to me? Associated with that ever since I tried to amv it, BUT. Blimbos posts about Spottedleaf lately has made me want to give more love to her and made me think more about her character and my interpretation of her. Though of course mine is very influenced by theirs! (Hiii Blimbo love the stuff Blimbo!!!)

At least in my mind this is a piece about misogyny, how the patriarchy affects women real and how that seeps into the fictional world and how it affects the writing of Spottedleafs character. Who really is she aside from her death, trauma, and love?

But that's just me, at the end of the day, a little bit unfortunately this is a warrior cats fanart for a spotify art challenge, not my big hit piece. Hope y'all enjoy eitherway

Some chapters have me hard pressed not to just screenshot every page, and the one where Anya and Damian make the paper griffins together is one of them.

Damian quickly finds himself not having enough material for his grand plans, and Anya uses this opportunity to help him.

This is among one of the first times this happens, if I recall correctly, and I think it’s really interesting. This is a huge part of their dynamic— Damian has a problem and doesn’t have the humility to ask for help, and Anya helps him of her own accord, which tends to either solve his issue at her own expense… or it turns out very silly such as the griffins. Though in this case, Damian does win first place for… other reasons haha

Something really huge about this to me is that Damian actually chooses to display her griffin with his— he probably could have easily thrown it out or told her to display it on her own, but he actually kept it with his display (and benefitted from it unknowingly).

I wouldn’t say this is a top damianya moment for me, but actually I think it’s a really important one.

Its kind of amusing how I did not intend my space crew set to really be for the MW fandom, and they still very much have their own story going on (largely its about the mechanic Stefan's situation, being the overarching thing that they are trying to help cure him from), But since I got ideas for interactions between them and the Tulpar crew, here we are lol

I'm thinking of it more like a 'crossover' or a minor story arc/'episode' of a longer story, if that makes sense? Tulpar Crew rescue is just one mission out of many, this crew has story before and after it all. I'm just currently drawing those interactions as I have many ideas for them, and it gives me motivation to practice making comic strips more again.

rn I'm working on Anya helping Cherry do the psych evaluation for her crew as Cherry is too busy with other things, and I have a comic strip idea for Matt chatting with Curly, and revealing bits about Stefan's troubled history in an attempt to empathize with some of the guilt Curly is feeling. (Stefan is NOT like Jimmy, but he HAS done some bad things...)

"There's Only One Bed" Trope (Vash x Reader, Wolfwood x Reader) - This is the writing that started all my writings for Trigun and I'm proud of it.

Home (Vash x Reader) - This one is very, very special to me and was written more for myself but I'm happy if others can resonate with it. I'm a nurse in real life so the healersona is real. It's a full fic expansion of this drabble I wrote.

I Need Some Sleep (Vash x Reader) - This is the newest addition right now and I really love it because it ties in my love for music and dancing alongside longing and comfort.

Guide (NSFW - Inexperienced!Choso x Reader) - One of two NSFW fics I've written for one of my other fictional husbands (Choso from JJK). This fic really pushed me out of my comfort zone with writing smut and NSFW content, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! :)

Elysium (Dad!Vash x Reader series, currently ongoing) - This is my first series that I've ever written. It's been an ongoing challenge writing it, but it's also been such a good time and a wonderful learning experience. I really love Dad!Vash (thanks @jellys-compendium I blame you for this).

I'm new, how do aged-up AU's work for this particular fandom? As in, those ones where Anya and Damian are teens still in school together. Is Mission Strix just taking THAT long? Is it still in action but all identities are revealed? Is this a scenario where Anya was adopted and enrolled at 16?
